Bags Bags Bags

I'm kind of been wanting to get a bag. This has been going on since I started my new job since I am doing things a little bit differently now as compared to before. I used to carry my laptop along with a lot of other gear while going to work. I used to work downtown and have about a 20 minute walk to get to the office from the train station. Today, I take the train and then take a 15-20 min shuttle ride instead. Also, don't carry my laptop back and forth from the office as I not so involved in the operational aspects as much anymore.

So, I carry pretty much a smaller set of stuff and don't need to be carrying all the crap that I once did. I also used to be into large super huge bags as well as I tended to carry a lot of stuff. Now, I'm downsizing.

I've been looking at a few different bags and am wondering if its time to change. I'm thinking of moving away from the messenger/laptop bag and trying something different. Perhaps going back to a backpack or sling bag. Maybe a man purse or jack pack [sack] :)

I was close on thinking of getting a smaller messenger from Chrome. I was looking at the Mini Metro. I got an opportunity to see one in person and then decided it wasn't different enough from my Timbuk2.

I'm back looking at Tom Bihn's which I think are awesome but are insanely expensive. I was thinking of his Buzz bag.

I need to look for more options.
